Bringing Awareness to Ovarian Cancer One Bottle at a Time

For a second year, The Martin family has partnered with Hope for Heather- an organization dedicated to raising awareness for ovarian cancer. By dedicating their Hope Dry Rosé to this cause, they have helped bring attention to this women’s cancer. 

“Our efforts to not only raise awareness about ovarian cancer but to also raise money for research is near and dear to our heart.“ said Co-Owner, Bill Martin.

This past September, Montezuma Winery accepted donations in their tasting room to help raise funds in honor of National Ovarian Cancer Month. Donations of any amount were accepted and customers would get a free teal stemless wine tumbler for donating $20+. 

Thanks to the community, they raised $529.69 to donate to Hope for Heather.

This past Spring, the Martin family also donated hundreds of dollars to the organization based on what would have been the wine packaging costs. Waterloo Container, Syracuse Label & Surround Printing, and Wilson Press all graciously donated their packaging products to help support. 

Hope Dry Rosé is still available in the Seneca Falls tasting room and online for $14.99.

It is fresh and complex with aromas of strawberry, pink grapefruit, lychee, and gentle hints of mint.
