A Competition With A Purpose: It’s A Win-Win
This year at the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition put on by Camp Good Days, we were awarded 5 medals for our outstanding wines and even a spirit! This competition not only awards premium wines from the Finger Lakes but also benefits an amazing cause. Camp Good Days is a not-for-profit organization that has services and programs for those, adults and children, whose lives have been affected by cancer and other diseases. The FLIWC helps raise awareness and funds for this organization and we are so proud and grateful to be a part of it.
In addition to participating in this competition, we also attended it. Our winemaker, Phil, was one of the many judges tasting and ranking all of the wines and spirits that were entered into the competition. Phil was very excited to be a part of this process and enjoyed every moment of it.
We have participated in this competition for many years and look forward to the ones to come!
For 2018, we were awarded the following:
Double Gold– Judd’s Tangle Foot Corn Whiskey
Silver– Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 & Drumlin Red
Bronze– Moscato & Egret
